The Amur Duster Coat is the centrepiece of its namesake collection. The Amur has gone through multiple iterations over two years - and in this iteration has been designed to suit a new fabric for us in 2024 - a structured, textured pure cotton canvas.
On the surface, the Amur Duster showcases a double-collar construction and a multi-layered upper back design inspired by military parachute coats. The exaggerated front gun flap hides an experimental multiple belt loop system - enabling one to wear the included double-layered belt in either a high or low position. Pockets are plentiful and have been built into the waist as well as the insides of the coat. The Amur Duster's wide and boxy silhouette reflects the need for protection in an increasingly solitary, atomised world, pairing well with similarly relaxed outfits.
The Amur Duster is offered in our newly curated textured cotton canvas fabric. It is hardy and robust for everyday use, easy to care for, and remains breathable enough for trans-seasonal wear. Like all heavy-duty cottons, the fabric will develop a beautiful patina over time. As a tried and tested traditional coat fabric, such heavily textured, pure cotton canvas is made to last the wearer decades, or even longer.
